Siskin Hospital Therapist Earns Certification

Siskin Hospital announces that Rebecca Weant, PT, has completed all the requirements for Vestibular Rehabilitation – A Competency Based Course. 

This certification is awarded by the American Physical Therapy Association. 

Ms. Weant is a physical therapist in Siskin Hospital’s Outpatient NeuroRecovery Program. 

"Vestibular rehabilitation is a non-invasive therapy to treat patients with balance and/or dizziness problems. It is a systematic, individually-designed approach with a series of exercises and activities that address the unique needs of each patient," officials said.

Chattanooga Police said, using a special detection device, they found a blood trail from the apartment of murder victim Ashley Cates to that of 57-year-old Tyrone Murphy on the same floor of an older house in Highland Park. Katrina Holloway, 42, was shot and killed early Thursday morning, and her boyfriend, Reginald Oakley, 43, has been arrested.   Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot at 1:30 a.m. to the 1200 block of Cypress Street Court.
