Signal Mountain American and Red Bank claimed opening night wins Tuesday in the Dixie Youth Baseball 9-10s(AAA) District 6 tournament held at Lookout Mountain's Nick Senter Field.

Game 1: Signal Mountain American 14

Signal Mountain National 2

SM American - WP, Duncan Smith 2 IP, no.runs allowed

top hitters- Nick Gibson, 3-3 with 2 triples... Devin Dobson scored 3 runs

SM National - William Barker had a triple and Luke Smiley added an RBI single

Game 2: Red Bank 15

Lookout Mountain 12

WP - Maddux Bosley ... Save - Hayden Knam

SM Batters - Eli Raines - 6 RBIs... Dublin McGonagall reached base each time he batted

 

Wednesday's Schedule

6 p.m. Signal Mountain Nat'l (0-1) vs. Lookout Mountain(0-1)

7:30 p.m. Signal Mountain American(1-0) vs. Red Bank (1-0)

Tournament continues Thursday with top two teams advancing to the state tournament beginning July 13
