Lenard Jaecks, 85, of Ooltewah passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017, with his wife of 64 years, Lois, by his side. 

Born in Wausau, Wi., he was the son of the late Lawrence and Leona Goede Jaecks.  He attended Wisconsin Academy, Emmanuel Missionary College, and received his doctorate of divinity from Andrews University. Lenard served as a pastor in various Seventh-day Adventist churches and a conference president in Washington State for a combined 45 years.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Jaecks; sons, Steven (Carmen) Jaecks, Ooltewah, Ronald (Kelli) Jaecks, Salem, Oregon; sister, Virginia (Jess) Nephew, Michigan; one grandson, David and two step grandchildren, Keston and Brea (Renato); sisters-in-law, JoAnn (Bill) Clegg and Glorian Iattoni; brothers-in-law, James (Elaine) Iattoni, Richard (Connie) Iattoni; several nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.

Memorial services will be held in the chapel at the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church on July 29, at 3:30 p.m.
