Tena Mae Stewart Smith, 84, of Chickamauga, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017.

She was born to the late Frank and Allene Wofford Stewart in Sylvania, AL, was a resident of Chickamauga for most of her life and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Tena retired from the Chickamauga Telephone Company in 1994 after 15 years and retired from Robert Davis Law Offices in 2011 after 15 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, who will be greatly missed.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Eugene Smith; children, Teresa Kaye Smith Chapman and Charles David Smith; siblings, Clark Stewart and Donald Stewart; and great grandchild, Skyler Davis Craver.

Tena is survived by her loving children, Deborah Jean (Robert) Davis and Michael E. (Helen) Smith; 6 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Burnt Church Cemetery, Sylvania, AL.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday and prior to the service on Sunday. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J. Avery Bryan Chapel, Chickamauga.
