Gary Lebron Carlton, 71, of Suck Creek Community, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. and Lillie Mae Carlton; brother, James “Buddy” Carlton; sisters Betty Jo Carlton and Marjorie Sue Shrum; and nephew, Barry Stamey. Mr. Carlton was a member of Grace Baptist Church and retired from Harry J. Welchel Company. He served in the National Guard.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 46 years, Marie Griffith Carlton; two sisters, Ann (Doug) Bailey, and Johnnie Ruth (Glen) Stamey; brother, Darryl (Sharon) Carlton; his niece Sheliah (Greg) Lawson, which he thought of as another sister; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. CST on Wednesday, Aug. 23.
Funeral services will be at noon CST on Thursday, Aug. 24 in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Lusk Cemetery with a Masonic Service.
