Warren Chapel AME Celebrates Its 150th Church Anniversary

Warren Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church will celebrate its 150th church anniversary onSaturday and Sunday, Aug. 19 -20. The theme for this occasion is Rooted in Our Legacy, Moving to Our Destiny.

An anniversary luncheon is scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m., at the Downtown Marriott.  The guest preacher will be Bishop Jeffrey N. Leath, Presiding Prelate for the 13th Episcopal District (Kentucky/Tennessee).  The guest preacher for the 10 a.m.

Sunday worship service is Bishop Simeon Hall, senior pastor emeritus of New Covenant Baptist Church, Nassau Bahamas.
