Artists Reflect For The Floor Is Yours At Barking Legs Friday

Friday, September 1, 2017

Barking Legs brings The Floor is Yours: In the Mirror to the stage on Friday at 8 p.m. This monthly performance art showcase allows a variety of performance artists to express themselves with the only restraints being their own imagination.

Last month The Floor is Yours had poets, storytellers, stand-up comedians, singers, rappers, and performance artists produce work that centered around the theme of femininity and what femininity can teach. This month's theme is about self-reflection, exploring the pleasant and sometimes not so pleasant aspects of the artist's inner self.

MC of the event, Marcus Ellsworth, said, "Nothing is sacred here, except the art."
