Wendell Cox, 81, passed away Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017. He was a proud veteran and past Master of Hill City Masonic Lodge #603.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rance and Geraldine Cox; daughter, Tina Cox; brother, Bill Cox, sisters, Corky and Linda Cox.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Martha Cox; grandchildren; Jennifer (Jason) Brown, Joshua Cox; great grandchildren, Emileigh Lofty, Davey Cox; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
