Lyudmila Pavlovna Ostapenko, 67, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018, surrounded by her family.
 
She was born Oct. 30, 1950, in Magnitogorsk, Russia to Pavel and Eugenia Kozak.  Lyudmila loved her God and people.  She had a big heart for helping those in need and numerous lives have been touched by her.  Lyudmila also loved to sing and write music.  The hymns that she wrote are sung in Russian churches around the world.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pavel and Eugenia Kozak.

Lyudmila is survived by her children, Bogdan Ostapenko (Anna), Angelina Strelkov (Roman), Pavel Ostapenko (Anna), Timofey Ostapenko (Yuliya), Vladimir Ostapenko (Oksana), Lyubov Parpulansky (Mikhail); sister, Lyubov Pavlovna Klimenko; brother, Andrey Pavlovich Kozak.

The funeral will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at the Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.
 
Her family will receive friends from 4–5:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
