Erlanger Reports Flu Still On The Rise With 224 Cases Reported Last Week

The Erlanger Health System continues to see a significant increase in flu cases, with 44% more patients treated at Erlanger hospitals for flu-like symptoms than the previous week at 156. 

 

During this same time last year, Erlanger treated 84 patients since the beginning of the flu season, compared to 546 this year.

 

Medical specialists continue to urge area residents who have not been vaccinated to do so, noting according to the CDC flu activity often peaks between December and February and can last into May.
