Toney S. Dodd, age 56, of Chattanooga, passed away at his home Tuesday, January 30, 2018. He was employed by Wal-Mart in the maintenance department for over 12 years. Mr. Dodd enjoyed working with people and seeing them laugh and smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Cordie Cooper Dodd; and brothers, David Dodd and Herman Link.
Survivors include his daughter, Summer (Eric) Wallin of Trenton; granddaughter, Ava Wallin; expecting granddaughter, Cala Wallin; brothers, Harold Link and Eugene Dodd; sisters, Myrtle (Jackie) Dodd, Mildred (Ron) Cooper and Kathy (Rickey) Kennedy; uncle, Larry Gordy; aunt, Thelma Maxwell; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2 at Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga, with Bro. Larry Gordy officiating. Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m-1 p.m. Friday at the Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton.
