The Chattanooga Mocs shot 1-under 575 today over 36 holes of the Autotrader Collegiate. The Mocs opened with 289 in the morning before coming back with 2-under 286 in the afternoon at Berkeley Hills C.C.

That puts the squad in 10th. Just seven strokes separate fifth-place James Madison (568) and the Mocs. UTC is four behind Western Kentucky in ninth and seven clear of Tennessee Tech in 11th.

Will Porter led the way with a tidy 3-under 141. He turned in 70 in the first 18 and 71 over the second.
Midway through was his hot streak birdieing three of four holes. It started completing round one with birdies at 18 and one before a third in four holes on the par 5 third as he started on No. 2 in a shotgun start both 18s.

That puts him in a tie for 20th overall. He’s three ahead of teammate Leon Bader who fired twin level scores of 72 in his first collegiate start. Oliver Simonsen is next at 1 over as Etienne Brault came in another shot back at plus 2. Moritz Lammel completed the starters’ scoring at 4 over.
