Larry Wayne Burrows
Larry Wayne Burrows, 71, of Chattanooga passed away October 15, 2018.
The resident of East Brainerd was an Allstate Insurance agent on Ringgold Road for many years.
He was intensely interested in his family background and in local history. Mr. Burrows often visited the Durham coal mine area of Lookout Mountain, where his family once lived. He helped make possible the publication of the Will Stokes photos.
He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Nancy Irene Burrows and brother, LeRoy Burrows.
He called his children and grandchildren constantly letting them know how much he loved them. He still loved his wife, Theresa Burrows, more than his own life.
For those who knew him…knew he was a man of God, who loved everyone unconditionally and always put his family first. We will never forget the memories that have been made with him.
He has three children, Randy (Jessica) Burrows, Lisa (Billy) Baskette and Rachel Jacobs; grandchildren, Justin, Casey, Brandon, Emily, Cody, Wesley, Nicole, Promise, Faith, Jonathan and his precious great-grandchild, Gracelyn Jo; brothers, Stanley Burrows, Gary Burrows; sister, Jean Ezell with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 17, and Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday from 1-2 p.m. in Brainerd Hills Church of God. Pastors Emery Millican, Bob Wilerson and Dwight Henderson will conduct the service at 2 p.m. in the church.
