Honoring the Sacrifice Foundation received a $20,000 gift from the discretionary funds account of departing Hamilton County Commissioner Joe Graham.

Honoring the Sacrifice Foundation is a Chattanooga based public benefit charity whose mission is to meet the unique needs of post-9/11 severely wounded veterans. The donated funds will be used to purchase a custom wheel chair for an 82nd airborne paratrooper who lost both legs in an IED blast, and a young female veteran whose life was changed forever due to a snipers bullet.
