Cleveland State Defeats Roane State, 76-70

The Cleveland State Men's Basketball team defeated Roane State, 76-70 on Saturday. This win brings their record to 12-11 (8-8). 

Leading the Cougars was Tevin Olison, who dropped 18 points on the night.

Early in the second half of the game, Olison took a hard fall, suffering a cut on his upper lip. After a quick trip to the trainer's office, Olison was cleaned up and came back out on the court to swish 5 consecutive free throws, helping his team secure the win. Also in the mix was Cam Copeland who scored 15 points on 5-7 shooting. Delaino Walker also had a solid game, going perfect from the field and 7-8 from the free throw line, finishing with 13 points and 5 rebounds.

Next up for the Cougars is a home match against Dyersburg State at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 23
