Lamar McDaniel, 75, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, March 11, 2018.

He was the owner of McDaniel & Son Construction Company and a charter member and deacon at Bayside Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allie and Julia Pearl McDaniel; brother, Tommy (Nancy Catherine McDaniel).

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jane Foster McDaniel; daughter, Kelli McDaniel Brown; grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Cody Brown and Seth Brown; Sister, Trudy (Terry) Payne; Sisters in law, Judy Swafford and Loretta June Campbell; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at Bayside Baptist Church, in Harrison, on Thursday, March 15, at 6 p.m. with Reverend Eric Stitts officiating. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Old McDonald Cemetery, 8800 Snow Hill Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bayside Baptist Church Building Fund in his memory.
