At its annual stockholders meeting in Chattanooga, the board of directors of CTI Engineers, Inc., approved changes in company management to meet the growing operational needs of its organization. "A lengthy leadership transition planning process identified three key second-generation employees to promote to corporate and Chattanooga branch office leadership roles. The changes will help ensure future delivery on CTI's goal of providing comprehensive and innovative engineering solutions for its clients and promote increased efficiencies across the firm's management structure," officials said.
Taylor Stein, P.E., will assume the position of chief operating officer and the office of executive vice president.
Before joining CTI in 1994, he served as executive vice president of his family's construction business.
The position of corporate comptroller will be assumed by Ken Price, P.E., one of CTI's senior structural engineers and project managers.
Stepping into the role of Chattanooga branch manager will be Philip Schofield, P.E. A utility infrastructure specialist with emphasis on storm water management, Mr. Schofield joined CTI in 1995 as an engineer and now serves as a senior project manager.
