Heartland Launches In Philadelphia

  • Thursday, April 5, 2018

The Heartland Network, Luken Communications’ country music and lifestyle offering, has expanded its footprint into the Philadelphia market (DMA 4). Philadelphia area viewers can now find The Heart of Country on WACP channel 4.3, owned and operated by Western Pacific Broadcast, LLC.

Suzanne Lupia, WACP’s director of Operations, said, “Country music represents almost half of the adult population with multi-generational appeal and Heartland offers a unique opportunity in the continually growing diginet landscape to reach that large and diverse audience. We’re thrilled to introduce Philadelphia viewers to Heartland’s distinctive blend of classic and contemporary country music and lifestyle programming.”

Joel Wertman, president of Luken Communications, said, “Heartland is currently experiencing unparalleled growth in both our network footprint and our programming options.  With our recent expansion into both original production and over-the-top streaming, this partnership with Western Pacific Broadcast is perfectly timed. We’re delighted to welcome WACP to the Heartland family.”
