Attorney Davis Subpoenas Mayor Lambert For June 5 Hearing In Tim Boyd Extortion Case

Attorney Lee Davis has subpoenaed East Ridge Mayor Brent Lambert for a June 5 hearing in the case in which County Commissioner Tim Boyd is charged with extortion.

He has also requested records from East Ridge City Hall and from the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum where Mayor Lambert is president and CEO.

The charge was brought after Mayor Lambert turned in phone recordings he made of calls to Commissioner Boyd.

The hearing will be conducted by Judge Andrew Friberg of Bradley County, who took over the case after the three Criminal Court judges here recused themselves.

The request to East Ridge City Hall includes:

Please provide copies of any and all documents, applications, checks, and/or other records received from Brent Lambert and/or his campaign related to his use of the East Ridge City Hall on April 16, 2018;

 Please provide any and all emails from Brent Lambert’s email account with the City of East Ridge from January 1, 2017 to the present;

 Please provide any and all cell phone records, call logs, cellular logs belonging to and/or used by Brent Lambert from (a) June 1, 2017 thru June 30, 2017 and (b) February 1, 2018 to May 2, 2018 and include any and all records depicting the time and date of each and every outgoing/incoming call, the number to whom such call was made, and the number from which such call was received.  Further, please include each and every text message, sent and received, during those same two time periods;

 Please provide copies of the minutes of the East Ridge City Council meeting and agenda session for June 3, 2017;

 Please provide a copy of Ordinance 818 of the East Ridge Ethic Ordinance.

The request to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum includes:

Please provide any and all cell phone records, call logs, cellular logs belonging to and/or used by Brent Lambert from (a) June 1, 2017 thru June 30, 2017 and (b) February 1, 2018 to May 2, 2018 and include any and all records depicting the time and date of each and every outgoing/incoming call, the number to whom such call was made, and the number from which such call was received.  Further, please include each and every text message, sent and received, during those same two time periods;

 Please provide any and all emails from the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum email account of Brent Lambert from (a) June 1, 2017 thru June 30, 2017 and (b) February 1, 2018 until May 2, 2018.
