Raymond A. Iles, 67, of Dayton, died on Monday, April 30, 2018, at Parkridge in Chattanooga.
He was born June 22, 1950, in Dayton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delmar Arthur Iles; his two sons, Danny Lee Iles and Michael Iles; his grandson, Steven Heard and his sister, Wilma Crawley.
Raymond lived in Dayton all of his life. He worked in the manufacturing industry for many years and enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy (Cox) Iles of Dayton; his mother, Oleta Iles Dowden of Graysville; three sons, Delmar “Dale” (Karen) Iles, Gene Douglas Jr. and Chucky Iles; his daughter, Kathy Douglas Lindahl all of Dayton; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his brother, Darrell (Rhonda) Iles of Dayton; his four sisters, Darlene (Jimmy) Morgan, Betsy Burchard, Karen Love all of Graysville and Susan (James) Linger of Evensville.
Graveside funeral services for Raymond will be held on Thursday, May 3, at noon in the Spivey Cemetery in Dayton with Reverend Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.
