David Jones
David Leon Jones, Jr., known to friends as “PeeWee,” passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018, at the age of 36. David was a resident of Cleveland, Tn. at the time of passing.
David was born on Sept. 24, 1981, in Chattanooga, to David Leon Jones Sr. and Katherine Berry. He was a loving father, son, and brother who was loved by all. David will always be remembered for the love he had for his children and family.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Katie, Eric, James, Shawn, and Belle; his mom and step father, Kathy and Sam Berry, his father, David Jones, Sr. and his step-father, Jerry Gilliland; brothers, Adam, Josh, and Jeremy Gilliland; sisters, Eve and Charlene; grandparents, Sally Miller, Charles and Jewell Welch; fiancée, Patty Troupe; as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Avenue Chapel with Pastor Anthony Traylor officiating.
The committal service will follow at Lee Cemetery in Georgetown, Tn., with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends on Friday, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
