Leontay Burns-Hitchcock, 18, Shot On South Willow Street On Saturday

Leontay Burns-Hitchcock, 18, was shot on Saturday.

At approximately 5:39 p.m., officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to the 1000 block of South Willow Street on reports of a person shot. Upon arrival,oOfficers located Burns-Hitchock suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his left foot. 

Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local area hospital. 

Investigators with the Violent Crimes Bureau responded to the scene. The victim told investigators he did not see who shot him.
