A sales supervisor at a store near Hamilton Place Mall said two black females entered with black plastic trash bags. Due to the store being very busy, the supervisor was unable to interact with them very much. She did notice the two suspects leaving with a full trash bag each. Afterward, she found 11 shoe boxes, empty, on the aisle that both suspects were last seen on. Both suspects were wearing blue medical scrubs. One was seen on video wearing a medical ID badge. The suspects left the store and got into a very clean white 2017 Ford Taurus that was waiting at the front door. The vehicle only had a tempory tag on the back.

Two neighbors on Highland Terrace Drive with rival SEC teams continue to have problems. Sarah Cooper said Thomas Gracy had placed large stumps partially in her driveway, which makes it hard to pull in. Mr. Gracy said Ms. Cooper has put a red shingle roof on her house and other "Alabama Roll Tide" red objects on her property. Mr. Gracy said that Ms. Cooper's driveway was actually on his property and that is why he painted the stumps Tennessee Vol orange. Officer McCall showed Mr. Gracy the Hamilton County GIS map and that the location he placed the stumps was actually on city right of way property. Mr. Gracy "was gracious enough to move the stumps so they were no longer impeading Ms. Cooper's driveway."

A passer by called in saying someone was hanging half way out of their car near Shallowford Road. Upon arrival an officer found a Gray Nissan Xterra parked off of the roadway and no one around. Police walked a path from the car down towards the creek to attempt to locate the driver. Jason Parton was located under the bridge. Police asked him what he was doing. He explained that he was just trying to find a new fishing hole.

A woman on Union Avenue said she heard a noise outside around 9:50 p.m. When she went out of her back door she saw an older white male and older white female stealing her vehicle. They were driving an older red roll back tow truck which did not have any markings or business names on it. When confronted by the victim the suspects stated they were towing it to Hooker Road. The woman said she had not given anyone permission to tow her vehicle and that she does not owe any money on it. The vehicle is worth approximately $1,500.

A resident of Anderson Avenue said she was going to leave her residence around 2:30 a.m. She had put the keys to her 2006 Ford Taurus inside the vehicle. She went back inside and fell asleep. When she returned to her vehicle at 4:30 hours she discovered it was gone. The vehicle has extensive damage to the rear passenger door including a large dent and a broken window. It is worth approximately $3,000.

At the Circle K on Hixson Pike, the manager said an unknown black male customer entered the store. He distracted the clerk by telling him there was no toilet paper in the men's restroom. When the clerk left the counter, video surveillance recorded the man reach around the lottery bin and use a key he had on him to open it. He removed $25 jumbo tickets valued at $400 and then left the store without being detected. The suspect was only described as a heavy set black male and was not recognized as a regular customer.

Alvin Moses said he left his 2006 Nissan Armada running with the doors unlocked in the garden center part of the Walmart Gunbarrel Road parking lot. He said he left the vehicle running because his dog was left inside. Mr. Moses used his key tracing app "Tile" to show that his vehicle was parked in front of the garden center, however, it could not be located in the parking lot. The vehicle was described to have a brush guard on the front bumper, a dent in the passenger side door, and three LED lights in the front grille. The next day the victim called police to report that he located his stolen Armada and his dog. The dog was found wandering around the parking lot of the Villas at Oakcrest at 7255 Lee Hwy. The Chihuahua had the victim's Verizon receipt containing his phone number stuffed in the shirt it was wearing. When Mr. Moses arrived to get the dog he found that his stolen Armada was also in the parking lot. The keys were not in the vehicle and there were no suspect leads in or around the vehicle.

An officer Frazier responded to a swindle at Dahlia Street. A woman said money had been stolen out of her BB&T bank account by a suspect posing as an FDIC agent. She said a man who goes by the name of Jason met her outside her residence. Jason (black male, 6', 280 pounds, late 20's, flat top, glasses, and beard) explained to her that he worked for the FDIC and that the Federal Government owed her money relating to an insurance policy. Jason told her that all he needed was her bank access number and pin; in which she gave him these items. She said she thought that Jason was legit because she had heard other people in the area were receiving back wages from the government relating to insurance. The woman said Jason was driving a brand new black Toyota Maxima. There were two other black males in the car with him. A passenger was in his 40s and had a faded haircut which was turning gray, and there was a black male, age between 17 and 18, in the rear of the vehicle. The woman said she received a call from her bank notifying her of suspicious activity on her bank card. When she checked, it was evident that the suspect deposited funds into her account, and then took the funds plus extra cash back out of the account. The woman said "Jason" was able to withdraw around $800.00 of her money. The bank put her account on hold.

A resident of Audubon Drive said she was seated on her screened-in porch when she saw a bright blue car drive past her residence several times. She said the vehicle eventually stopped in front of her neighbor's residence, and a tall, thin, black male, wearing red pants with a black stripe down each side, exited the front passenger seat, walked up to the front porch, and retrieved an Amazon package. The woman said she yelled at the man, which caused him to run back to the vehicle with the package and flee the area. She was able to take photos of the vehicle before it was completely out of sight. The neighbor said she was expecting a package via Amazon from her boyfriend. She said she did not know what the package contained but would find out.

A local man told police that he received an email claiming they had web cam footage of what he was doing while watching adult Web cam sites. The email told the local man that if he did not send him $3,000 in bit coin that everyone in his phone would receive a video of it.

Officers answered a call on Shallowford Road after a woman reported a button switch had come off her powered recliner. The woman was stuck in the fully reclined position. The officer was able to retrieve the switch from the floor and properly fasten it to the chair "allowing the woman to resume her normal position and activity."
