Sale Creek won a tough, hard-fought volleyball match against Rhea County, 3-2, on Saturday, sending the Lady Panthers into the postseason on a high note. Scores were 22-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-16 and 15-11.
The Lady Panthers (31-6) overcame a two-set deficit to win the match at Rhea County High School.
Sale Creek used its power attacks to subdue the Lady Golden Eagles.
Madysun Steele led the way with 22 kills, Sydney Gibson had 15 and Reagan Ayres added 12. Avery Cox contributed 26 digs.
Next up for the Lady Panthers is the District 5-1A tournament and they are seeded No. 1.
