George Michael Kouris
George Michael Kouris, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at his home.
He was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and was a retired mechanical engineer.
Mr. Kouris was preceded in death by his wife, Polotimi Kouris and his parents, Michael and Angela Kouris.
Survivors include his children, Michael Kouris, Peter Kouris and Angela Kouris; six grandchildren, Christopher Kouris, Alex Kouris, Haiden Harness, Myra Kouris, Michael Kouris, Jr. and Abigayle Kouris; brother, Peter (Soula) Kouris and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Father Stavros Ballas officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday with a Trisagion Service at 7:30 p.m.
