Nina Louise Hughes, 93, of Rossville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Nina was born on Oct. 29, 1930, on Sand Mountain, Al to the late Thomas Arnold Stallings and Gazzie Lea Stallings. Nina was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. She was saved at Mount Olive Church of Rossville. She was a proud charter member of Bible Baptist Church. She retired from Standard Coosa Thatcher/ Coats America where she worked for many years as a yarn tester. Nina was a devoted church member until the day of her passing.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband William R. Hughes; daughter, Renva L. Hughes; siblings, Edith Biddle, Travis Stallings, Battie Coleman and Winola Roden.

Survivors include her son, William Lamar Hughes; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Sabrina) Hughes and Kristy (Alonzo) Mancilla, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, with Pastor Ricky Gravley officiating. Interment will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
