For the first time this season, one school has swept all three weekly Gulf South Conference baseball awards. Jack Nedrow, Josiah Miller, and Luke Collier each earned recognition for the Lee University baseball team as announced by the league on Tuesday.
Miller was named player of the week. He hit .636 as Lee went 3-1. He was 7-for-11 at the plate with nine RBI, and five runs scored. He had two home runs and one triple for a slugging percentage of 1.364%. He was walked three times and hit once.
He did not strike out and had one stolen base.
Nedrow earned GSC pitcher of the week. He had a complete game shutout against UWA throwing just 68 pitches. In the seven innings he threw, he only gave up one hit and struck out five. He did not have a walk, hit batter, or a wild pitch. UWA only had an average of .045 against Nedrow.
Collier was named freshman of the week for the fourth time this season. He hit .357 this week. He was 5-for-14 at the plate. He had nine RBI and six runs scored. He had two doubles and one home run. He was walked four times as well.
