Former Pioneer Football Players To Be Recognized At Sept. 8 Game

Crossville Speedway Adds 3 More UCRA Races To Fall Schedule

The Crossville (TN) Speedway has agreed to three additional Fall 2017 events with the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) to wrap up their racing season with a bang.   The "CROSSVILLE CLASSIX” weekend event will now take Round # 14 &15 of the 2017 season with two back to back full shows  on Friday  and  Saturday, Oct. 13 and 14 . City Council Approves David Roddy As Police Chief In 8-1 Vote

The City Council on Tuesday night voted 8-1 to approve David Roddy as police chief. Russell Gilbert cast the only no vote. Councilwoman asked that he be given a chance, saying the council could "hold him accountable" if problems arise. Chief Roddy became interim after the departure of Fred Fletcher. (click for more)

Chattanooga Police Pay Increases Announced

Chattanooga Police officers will be earning more under a $1.4 million pay improvement plan announced Tuesday. New officers would get increases in each of their first six years with the department, which has been dealing with a number of newly trained officers going to other cities.
