Goble, Mary Mae Welch (Tunnel Hill)

Mary Mae Welch Goble, 85, of Tunnel Hill, Ga., died Saturday May 5, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Joe and Laura Ensley Welch; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Goble; daughter, Linda Cantrell; and grand-daughter, April Hipp. 

Mary is survived by her children and their spouses, Verlon and Jeannie Cantrell of Columbia, S.C., Robert Cantrell of Rock Hill, S.C., Darlene and Rusty Simmons of Winston Salem, N.C., Jerry and Iris Cantrell of Columbia, Roland Cantrell of Dalton, Brad Scudder of Rockford Hill, Ill., Dianne and Billy Hipp of Dalton, Jeanette and Jim Plemmons of Dalton and Angie and James Eves of Ellijay; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be at noon Monday, May 7 in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellijay. 

Love Funeral Home, 1402 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton (across from Hamilton Medical Center) is in charge of arrangements.
