Ruby Bernice Jones Hilburn, 89, of LaFayette, GA, died Sunday, January 27, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Hilburn; daughter, Sandra Maddux; and brothers, Wesley Jones and Franklyn Jones.
She is survived by daughters, Bernice Cole, Juanita Smith, Samantha McAllister and Edna Angland, all of LaFayette; son, Clayton Hilburn, of Rome; sisters, Peggy Stone, Doris Brown and Frances Fricks, brother, C.L. Jones, all of LaFayette; grandchildren, Lisa Blackmon, Hank Cole, Chris Hill, Sonya Vaugn, Michael Ferguson, Jamie Smith and Amber Stoe; nine great- grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be from the Wallis Memorial Chapel Wednesday, January 30 at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. W.C. Pence. Interment will follow in the LaFayette Cemetery. Pallbearers are Marcus Logan, Casey Hill, Joe Simmons, Jamie Vaugn, Mike Fogue, Zack Blackmon and Chade Blackmon.
