Beck, Thomas Jackson (Cleveland)

Thomas Jackson Beck, 63, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 surrounded by his family. 

Tommy was born on December 30th, 1949 a son of the late Georgia Beck Green. He graduated Bradley Central High School and worked until his retirement as a photographer and in the photo finishing industry. Tommy was a member of the Waterville Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing, camping and watching various sporting events, but the thing most important to Tommy was spending time with his family. He will be forever remembered for being a loving and devoted father and grandfather.

In addition to his mother Tommy was also preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Claude J. & Bessie Beck; and one brother Dennis Green.

Tommy is survived by one daughter, Melinda Gail Beck; two sons, Thomas Bradford Beck and his wife Krista and Aaron Foster Beck and his wife Courtney; five grandchildren; three brothers, Johnny Green, Ronnie Beck and Jerry (Betty) Beck; and numerous other extended family members and special friends.

A celebration of his life is planned for Monday, December 2 at 7 p.m. at the Waterville Baptist Church located at 3722 Dalton Pike in Cleveland, TN with Pastor Allan Lovelace officiating.

A graveside service and interment will take place on Tuesday, December 3 at noon in the Spring Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lamontville, TN.Y
