First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe To Have Annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe will have its annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

The church is located on 2645 Lafayette Road, Fort Oglethorpe.

Pat Humphrey said, "This has been a part of this community for many years. Come out and enjoy as we ring the bell at midnight."

FBCFO was a church plant in 1952.

Sewell Says City, EPB "Close" On Amount Owed By Utility To City On Street Light Overbilling

City Internal Auditor Stan Sewell told City Council members on Tuesday that EPB and the city are "close" on the amount owed by the utility to the city on street light overbilling.
