East Ridge Officials, Stop The Bickering

Sunday, February 10, 2013

Open letter to all East Ridge City Councilmen and Mayor,

I, as an East Ridge citizen, ask, no beg, that you put aside your differences and stop the name calling, blaming and innuendos towards one another. Each of you has been placed in your positions by the faith and trust of your community. It is now time to live up to the expectations the citizens have placed in your dutiful hands.

Gentlemen, it's time to take off the gloves, get out of the ring, and together, peacefully, lead East Ridge into a bright, new future.

Basically, I ask each of you to grow up and play nice. We need and want our leaders to work together for the good of our community.

"Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is a progress. Working together is success." - Henry Ford

Thank you,
Cindy Mathis
East Ridge
