Ida Mae Smith, 84, of Elkhart, Indiana, formerly of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Greenleaf Health Campus.

She was born May 30, 1928 in Lupton City, Tn., to Dallas L. and Susie Anna (Hilton) Patrick.

Ida was employed with the Electric Power Board of Chattanooga for more than 20 years prior to her retirement.

Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Graham of Elkhart; granddaughter, Cindy (Lance) Zeb of Aurora, Il.; grandson, Michael (Bridget) Johnston of Ooltewah; four great-grandchildren, Hope and Lauren Zeb, both of Aurora, Il., Cody and Brodie Johnston of Ooltewah; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Naomi Adkins and one brother, Joel Patrick.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens East, Chattanooga.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 3, from 1-7 p.m., and on Monday, Feb. 4, one hour prior to the service at Hamilton Funeral Home, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
