Eddie Mae Upshaw
Eddie Mae “Miss Shorty” Upshaw, 92, died on May, 20, 2013.
Eddie Mae was a faithful member of First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church where Pastor J.W. Strickland is the pastor.
Survivors include her daughter, Doris Baker McDuffey; grandchildren, Patricia Tolliver, Trophena, Antionette, Angela and Earven “Rickey” Baker III; seven great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives; and friends, Earven Baker, Jr. and Joyce Thornton.
Services will be held on Friday, May 24, at 1 p.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, May 23, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
