Two major candidates are expected to contend for the vacant Circuit Court clerk's post being vacated by longtime clerk Paula Thompson.
County School Board Chairman Mike Evatt announced Monday.
County Commission Chairman Larry Henry is set to throw his hat in the ring on Wednesday.
The announcement by Mr. Henry will be at 1 p.m. at the County Courthouse.
