The Atlanta Braves Country Caravan, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors, has been making its way through the Southeast since January 21st. With coaches, players, broadcasters and front office staff in tow, the Braves Country Caravan will travel thousands of miles throughout Braves Country to meet and greet with fans prior to heading south for Spring Training in Orlando, FL.

The caravan is still scheduled to be at the Hixon Academy Sports + Outdoors at 5929 Highway 153 on Jan.30 from between 3:30 and 5:00 p. m. Radio broadcaster and MLB Hall of Famer Don Sutton, pitchers Kris Medlen, Gavin Floyd, David Hale, and catcher/outfielder Ryan Doumit are scheduled to be on hand.

"Every New Year brings fresh beginnings and the excitement of the upcoming baseball season. As we make our way around the Southeast during our Braves Country Caravan, each stop builds enthusiasm as we have the opportunity to meet with our fan base in their hometowns," said Atlanta Braves President John Schuerholz. "This is our special way of connecting with Braves fans on a personal level, and to thank them for their loyalty and support heading into 2014."

The fan-centric Braves Country Caravan provides up-close opportunities for fans to engage with their favorite Braves players to create lasting memories in each of its stops. Throughout the planned visits, the Caravan will make community appearances, as well as host free public autograph signings at Academy Sports + Outdoors stores.
