Larry G. Cox, 66, of Sale Creek, Tennessee, died on Monday, October 13, 2014.
Larry attended Soddy Daisy High School. He was baptized at the First Baptist Church Soddy Daisy.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Ethel Sorum Cox and two sisters, Darlene Goins and Jimmy Ruth Williams.
He is survived by his son, Larry Derick Cox of Soddy Daisy; daughter, Shonta Bowman of Sale Creek; brothers, Jimmy (Lacey) Cox of Spring City, Allen Cox of Soddy Daisy, David Cox of Soddy Daisy; sisters, Wanda (Rob) Carpenter of Soddy Daisy, Judy (Terry Cooley) Parrott of Soddy Daisy, Gay Cox of Dayton, Lynne (Mike) Gann of Hixson, Sandra (Harold) Crouse of Hixson, Tammy White of Dayton; grandchildren, Nick Bowman, and Benjamin Bowman; great-grandchild, Gabriel Bowman and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Dr. Seton Tomyn officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
