Grand Opening Of The Highlands Riding Center Is Sunday At Church Of The Highlands

  • Friday, November 14, 2014

Church of the Highlands will begin a formal partnership with Hixson Therapeutic Riding Program at
6621 Hunter Road in Harrison, this Sunday.

As of Jan. 1, 2015, Hixson Therapeutic Riding Program & Hixson Riding Academy will change its name to “The Highlands Riding Center.”

This strategic partnership opens the door of opportunity to provide equestrian therapy to those with special needs, including people with autism and those who have been abused. Additionally, horse-riding lessons are available for anyone.

The Highlands Riding Center has 17 horses and the barn has 44 stalls. An arena, 100’ x 200’, is under construction.

On Sunday at noon, there will be a ceremony to cut a ribbon, celebrate the grand opening of The Highlands Riding Center, and dedicate this to the Lord. Following the ribbon cutting, lunch will be provided and everyone can pet horses, tour the barn, and walk the grounds to see this exciting opportunity to serve the north east Hamilton County community.

Visit www.TheHighlands.cc/Horses for more details.
