Foursome Smashes 200 Medley Record At McCallie Invitational

Susanna LaRochelle, April Forsthoffer, Kristen Myers and Anna Ward rewrote several records for the 200 Medley Relay to highlight action for the McCallie/GPS Aquatics team in the McCallie Invitational swim meet this weekend.

The three records broken included the GPS school, McCallie pool and the McCallie Invitational.

LaRochelle also had first-place finishes in the 200 IM and the 100 breast while Forsthoffer was first in the 100 fly and second in the 200 IM

Myers was first in the 100 back and second in the 100 fly while Ward posted third-place finishes in the 50 free and 100 free.

Jon Pat Ransom also had a runner-up finish in the 100 free while taking fourth in the 200 free.

Other outstanding performances were turned in by Sarah Beth Moore, Mary Beth Ronne, Haley Grider, John Peter Davis, Barak Goren, Gabriel Johnson, Max Milam, Pierce Lively and Luke Massey.

"These swims set us up for a great championship season in February and we are very excited about our progress and where we are with our training.  These guys and girls are all doing a great job and buying into the program we're offering," said coach Roger Dahlke.
