Rainy weather has been the norm lately in the Chattanooga area, and tonight it will be raining 3s inside McKenzie Arena as Chattanoooga hosts Lipscomb Univ. in a men's college basketball game with a tip-off time set for 7 p.m,
Lipscomb averages 26 3-point shots a game led by Brett Wishon who leads the Atlantic Sun at 2.7 3-pointers made per game.
The Mocs average 19 shots a game beyond the arc led by Eric Robertson who is shooting 3s at a 52.5% per game (21-40).
Overall, the Bison (5-7) is led by Josh Williams (14.8 ppg, 5.3 rbpg) followed by Malcolm Smith at 13.7 ppg.
Lipscomb is 1-6 on the road with the lone win a 68-59 victory at Austin Peay. The Mocs are 6-1 at home and 18-3 over two years under coach Will Wade.
"Lipscomb players are very skilled and will shot a bunch of 3s and they have plenty of weapons," said coach Wade.
"They will a lot of motion, cut hard and put your defense in tough positions."
The Mocs are led in scoring by by Casey Jones (12.7) and Greg Pryor (11.7).
