First-Centenary United Methodist Egg Hunt Will Be Tuesday

The United Methodist Women at First-Centenary United Methodist Church, 410 McCallie Ave., will have the Call to Prayer and Self Denial program on the theme, "Sound Foundations: Sound Missions" Monday at noon in Kate Lyle West Chapel.

"A Matter of Orientation" will be Dr. Doug Fairbanks's topic for the 8:30 and 10:45 sanctuary services Sunday. His text will be Romans 8:6-11. The Rev. Brian Davis will speak in The Vine service at 10:45 on "Dinner with A Sinner." 

An Egg Hunt for children through 5th Grade will be Tuesday,  April 8, from 5:30-7 p.

m. at the Tennessee Riverpark Pavillion 3, 4301 Amnicola Hwy. The program will include crafts, games, the Easter story and an egg hunt.

Hickory Valley Christian Church Hosts "Takin' It To The Streets"

3 People Shot On Wilson Street; One Victim Has "Life-Threatening" Wounds

Three people were shot on Wilson Street on Sunday night, including one who was critically injured. At approximately 8:22 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to 2300 Wilson St. for shots fired in the area. O fficers located two black males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
