Carl Cecil Clark was born April 11, 1919 and died on April 5, 2014.

His wife Annie Lou Turner Clark preceded Cecil in death.

Cecil was a veteran of World War II and served with the Dixie Division in the South Pacific from 1943 through 1945.

Cecil is survived by his wife, Louise Barnett Clark of California; his son, Pete Clark of Tennessee; four sisters and two brothers who reside in Mississippi.

Visitation will be Monday, April 21, from 3-6 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.

Interment and graveside service is Tuesday, April 22, at 1 p.m. CST at Boones Chapel in Okolona, Ms.

Cecil has requested donations to the Brooks Memorial United Methodist Church of Hixson instead of flowers.
