The top two seeds in singles and doubles advanced to Friday’s semifinals in the District 6 A-AA Boys and Girls Tennis Tournament played Thursday at Brainerd.

The champion and runner-up in boys and girls singles and doubles will advance to the Region 3 tournament against District 5 with the Region champions advancing to Spring Fling in Murfreesboro, May 21-24.

The top seeds advancing to the semis are Alex Condra (Hixson boys), Michelle Phillips (Hixson girls), Carl Phillips-Kevin Nguyen (Hixson boys) and Brianna and Brittney Canty (Brainerd girls).
