Thelma Fine
Thelma Alene Fine, 89, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Whitley City, Ky., and was the oldest member of the Tiftonia Church of God. Mrs. Fine spent her adult life as a loving mother and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Fine and her son, Charles Fine.
She is survived by her daughters, Patty Goff and Teresa Langley, both of Chattanooga and Lillie Condra of Roseburg, Or.; sons, Jimmy (Fay) Fine of Bryant, Alabama and Danny (Dianna) Fine of Colton Oregon; sisters, Ruth Goodman, of Chattanooga and Jean (Pat) Petty of Clearwater, Fl.; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 1-8 p.m. on Monday, July 14, at Lane Funeral Home at 601 Ashland Terrace.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, with the Reverend Vernon Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
