Go Vols, Go Weston - And Response

All Tennesseans know what it's like to have a lawyer coaching the UT Vols football team and another one representing the Third District as congressman. 

All we need to know now is how many Tennesseans will vote to find out what it's like to have Weston Wamp, son of the best congressman (Zach Wamp) the Third District ever had, representing us. 

We have a young, energetic new coach in Knoxville firing things up for the Big Orange Nation; we need a young, energetic new congressman firing things up for us in our nation's capital.

Go Vols. Go Weston.

I don't know what qualifications you need to have to be a Congressmen except to sit on your behind, argue and do nothing, but Chuck Flieshmann fits the bill.

Please give Weston Wamp a chance, if he doesn't fit the bill, vote him him out the next election, but I've got a feeling he will make a change.

2 Hit While Walking On Birmingham Highway; 1 Dies At The Hospital

Two pedestrians were struck by a single vehicle on Highway 11 (Birmingham Highway) in Lookout Valley on Tuesday night. One of those who was struck died after being taken to a local hospital. 1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured In Hixson Pike Crash

One driver was killed and another seriously injured in a Hixson Pike crash on Wednesday morning. The wreck happened around 6:20 a.m. at the intersection at Boy Scout Road.
