Lillian Turner
Lillian Louise Turner, 98, of Rock Spring, Georgia, died on Friday, July 25, 2014.
She was a member of First Bible Methodist Church. Mrs. Turner raised support for 35 orphans in Haiti on a regular basis.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Acil Turner, parents, Alonzo and Anna Wilson Searles, two brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include her children, Karen Watson, Miriam Struewing, Mary Jane Lawrence, Richard Turner, James Turner and Danny Turner; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Reverend Harold Watson and the Reverend Tom Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, July 28, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn.
