CWLI And UTC At Chattanooga To Host Candidate Reception And Forum July 21

The Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute in partnership with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Department of Political Science, Public Administration, & Nonprofit Management and Department of Sociology, Anthropology, & Geography will host a Candidate Reception and Forum on Monday, July 21, at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Fine Arts Center beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The public is invited to meet candidates running in the August State Primary and Hamilton County General Election.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center, citizens will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with candidates running in the August 7 election.

Then, at 6:30 p.m. in the Roland Hayes Auditorium, there will be a moderated forum featuring candidates running in the August Primary for US House District 3 - Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, Dr. Mary Headrick and Weston Wamp.  



This event is open to the public, and all qualified candidates running in the August 7 State Primary and Hamilton County General Elections are invited to participate. Free parking is available in UTC lots after 5 p.m.
