Ringgold’s Festival of Flags is displayed twice a year and honors the deceased veterans of Catoosa County. Each flag represents one county resident who has died that served in the military, according to Ringgold Mayor Joe Barger.
The local Veteran of Foreign Wars post started the flag tradition more than 30 years ago to honor veterans who have died. The project is now stewarded by Ringgold through the help of volunteers from around the county, Mayor Barger said.
The concert will be inside the Depot. Seating is available but bring a seat cushion. Concessions will be available for sale.
