Hendersonville – “Driving Miss Daisy” is presented by The Hendersonville Performing Arts Company through March 1 at the Hendersonville Performing Arts Company Theatre.

Brownsville – Live blues music jam sessions is now a monthly occurrence at Jimmy’s Farmers Market and Deli in Brownsville.

Jackson – Experience the drama from Louisa May Alcott’s story of Jo, Amy, Beth and Meg in “Little Women” 7 p.m. at The Ned.

Nashville – Listen to Symphony No. 9 by Mahler performed by the Nashville Symphony 8 p.m. at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

Feb. 27-March 8

Spring City – The comedy “Rex’s Exes” will be performed at the Tennessee Valley Theatre. Tickets are $10.

Feb. 28-March 1

Hendersonville – More than 150 booths including information from landscape artists, interior designers and painters will be featured at the Middle Tennessee Home Show at the Hendersonville EXPO Center.

Columbia – Local artist Susan Elizabeth Jones will instruct painters during a Landscape Painting Workshop 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 28 and 1-5 p.m. March 1 at the Rippavilla Plantation.

Baxter – Make advance reservations for the upcoming Wine, Shine, & Stein Tours 9 a.m. beginning at DelMonaco Winery. Calfkiller Brewery and Short Mountain Distillery will be visited.

Memphis – Enjoy music by Low Society 8 p.m. at the Center for Southern Folklore. Tickets are $10.

Nashville – The public can learn about South American giant armadillos and anteaters 5 p.m. at the Nashville Zoo Croft Center.

Gatlinburg – Performers and spectators will love the Gatlinburg Improv Fest as a series of shows and classes are conducted at the Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre.

Nashville – Learn all about gardening with seed starting, garden groundbreaking, how to build raised beds, and invasive plants 11 a.m. at the Nashville Zoo.

Knoxville– Mardi Growl, a pet-friendly parade, will make its way 11 a.m. from the Downtown Dog Park, through Old City, down Gay Street and finish in Market Square.

March 8

Nashville – Make letterpress prints with Hatch Show Print noon1 p.m. and 2 p.m. at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Nashville – “Exquisite Nashville,” a collaborative art project between three organizations, will open at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.

March 17

Nashville – Seth Avett and Jessica Lea Mayfield will play to audiences 8 p.m. in the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s James K. Polk Theater.

Pigeon Forge – Thousands of quilters and folk art fans are welcome to A Mountain Quiltfest at the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge.
